8/17/2018 0 Comments what time is it?If you didn't think to answer the title of this post with "summer time!", then we can't be friends. (Is this why I'm not good at making friends?) That's besides the point. The point is I think this is what lifestyle/beauty influencers call 'summer favorites', so here they are.
song of the summer: "Better Not" - Louis The Child ft. Wafia (check out my May-August playlists to here my other songs of the summer!) app of the summer: Instagram (the Explore page is a dangerous place, people. Beware.) food of the summer: chicken (call me Pollo vegetarian. or don't. i just googled the term for this post.) tv show of the summer: Atlanta (I binge-watched both seasons in 3 days and I've been impatient ever since.) clothing item/accessory of the summer: shorts + scrunchie (I rarely left the house without either.) movie of the summer: Brooklyn book of the summer: Ruth by Keone & Mari Madrid; Two of my favorite dancers made a dance e-book and it was one of the most exquisitely crafted projects I've ever seen. Check it out. Dance is so freaking cool and this dance couple is changing the game. obsession of the summer: dance; I've been following the dance industry/community for years now, but seeing the passion, determination, and vulnerability that dancers have for their craft never ceases to inspire me. (ask me about some of the pieces I've seen in the past three months and I'll probably start malfunctioning from overload.) artist of the summer: SZA; she's been my favorite new artist for a year now and I still can't get enough of her voice. memory of the summer: laughing my face off at Kings Dominion (This happened recently so it's still fresh in my mind. If you know, you know.) shoes of the summer: Vans (per usual. still waiting on the sponsorship deal, btw) drink of the summer: other than water, cherry limeade from Sonic (even though I only drank one, it was one of the highlights of my summer.) activity of the summer: songwriting (sorry to abandon my three faithful readers on here, but I had to go back to my roots for awhile, ya feel?) lesson of the summer: Do your own thing at your own pace and work hard at it. It's not a race. The only person worth striving to be better than is the person you were yesterday. advice of the summer: You are a student for life. The learning, growing, and working doesn't stop after a certain level of success. accomplishment of the summer: I created content that I'm proud of and reached every artistic goal I set and more. (call me James Brown bc I FEEL GOOD.) If this isn't everything you wanted and more, then I've disappointed yet again. I apologize. I'm not good at prioritizing multiple things at once. Just another adult lesson I have yet to master. Thank you for your patience. Or your impatience too. I accept all forms of admiration. Feel free to tell me what you liked or didn't like about this post in the comments.. (Bc as a blogger, I do this all for the fans.) Or don't. The beauty of being human: free will. Embrace it. Okay, I'm annoying. Bye now.

5/22/2018 0 Comments Top 5 Underrated TV ShowsThere are TV shows that have come and gone, made us laugh, cry, and even pee our pants. And then there are the shows that we secretly freak out about by ourselves because no one we know appreciates "said shows" like we do. 10/10 of my brain cells recommend these television series stated below.
4/21/2018 0 Comments A-Z: things i don't regretI don't know about you but I'm the type of person who is always second-guessing my decisions. I don't react well when the pressure to determine the future is affected by me, even if it's just in a small way. In that self-doubt, I've experienced a lot of regret. Fortunately, in the last couple of years, I've conditioned myself to make that less of a trend. So here's twenty-six things I'm not mad about.
